✅ Container Used For:

Empty/partially used aerosols for paints, lubricants, cleaners

Whole fluorescent tubes only

Wood Skip

✅ Container Used For:

Untreated clean timber, broken pallets (untreated), plywood, chipboard, MDF, wooden furniture (no upholstery)

❌ Not Allowed:

Painted, treated or contaminated wood (creosote/tanalised), plasterboard, insulation, glazing, metal, plastic

? Why It Matters: Keeps wood recyclable

Metal Skip

✅ Container Used For:

Steel, copper, aluminium, metal pipes, beams, rebar, clean cable trays, metal doors/frames (no glass/plastic)

❌ Not Allowed:

Wood, plastic, glass, paint/oil drums, gas bottles or pressurised containers, electrical (WEEE), batteries, fridges/freezers

💡 Tip: Some equipment such as motors and drives are worth storing separately from metals as they can get a higher commodity value. Speak to Envirovue if you come across any.

General Municipal Waste

✅ Container Used For:

Mixed non-recyclable waste, packaging (non-hazardous), plastics/wrappers, dirty paper/cardboard (non-hazardous)

❌ Not Allowed:

Plasterboard, paint/oil drums, chemicals, oil contaminated rags or gloves, asbestos, gas bottles or pressurised containers, electrical (WEEE), batteries, fridges/freezers, upholstered furniture (could be POPs)

? Why It Matters: Prevents contamination of recyclables and hazardous exposure
